Dr. Robin Weinstein, Pastor of Bethany Grace Community Church, and Mrs. Nancy Mills, Executive Director of New Hope Counseling, has announced that their organizations are partnering to provide affordable Christian-based counseling services to Bridgeton area residents.

“Our Church is delighted to house and partner with New Hope to provide people with an affordable Christian-based counseling service right in the heart of Bridgeton,” said Dr. Weinstein. “Everyday I am confronted with the realities of the hurting people in our midst. Bethany is a Church committed to helping the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and soul. Our partnership will provide another resource in fulfilling our commitment. This partnership fits within the scope of our mission to love God and love others.”

Located in the heart of Bridgeton, New Jersey, Bethany is a congregation committed to advancing God’s kingdom through the unashamed proclamation of the message of Jesus Christ through word and deed. Bethany is made up of people of various ages and denominational backgrounds that are joined together by their common desire to pursue God’s will for their lives through prayer, study, fellowship, service, and worship.

“We have been praying about expanding our services and finding a home for our ministry and God has answered our prayers through Bethany,” said Nancy Mills, Executive Director and Founder of New Hope. “The vision for New Hope came out of my own personal tragedy having suffered from abuse. The seed for New Hope Counseling was planted as I began to heal, but the seed became a more clear vision during my time in grad school. I continue to heal – and believe I will till I get to be with God in Heaven. I know what it feels like to be on both sides of the counseling room – and I know that He can and does heal our hurts. There is always hope!”

New Hope Counseling is a non-profit, Christian ministry that provides counseling for sexual trauma, as well as related issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. Services are available for men, women, and children and include individual counseling, group counseling, and availability for speaking engagements. All services are confidential and provided by a board certified counselor who is a Licensed Associate Counselor in NJ. Clinical supervision is done by a Licensed Professional Counselor with many years in the field of trauma; services are provided in two locations, Elmer and Bridgeton. The session fee is $40, but for those who cannot afford this, there is an income-based sliding scale. Our goal is to meet our clients where they are and walk with them on their path to healing.

New Hope will operate out of the Church office located next to the Bethany Grace Community Church at 31 North Pearl St., Bridgeton NJ 08302. New Hope’s hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM- 7:00 PM. Individual and group therapy sessions are available.
