Full Armor Band None The SameWhat do you do when you celebrate 8 years together as a band? For the Full Armor Band, you do what you’ve been doing since the beginning; write, record, and release high quality songs that make you think, with a blend of harmonies to die for. With their fourth official CD release “None The Same,” The Full Armor band blends a mix of earthy acoustic pop, folk rock with a hint of the blues to produce one of their strongest releases to date.

From their opening track “Let Me Sow Love,” (Listen to “Let Me Sow Love” by clicking here) we see Full Armor had a lot of fun recording this album. With their very catchy and danceable rockabilly style, “Let Me Sow Love” asks God to reveal ways they can sow the love He’s put in their hearts and how they can be the instruments of peace God’s created them to be.  “Lead Me To The Light (Listen to Lead Me To The Light by clicking here) and New Creation” (Listen to “New Creation” by clicking here) share similar themes, with the idea of being once lost and experiencing a void in their heart, to ultimately be being satisfied and fulfilled in God. Another song that I absolutely love is the song called “The One I Can’t Live Without” (Listen to “The One I Cant Live Without” by clicking here) a song that shares a pursuit of love and the realization of the need for one another. Full Armor also wrote a song in response to the tragedy that happened to the students at Sandy Hook Elementary School with their song called, “What I Pray About.” (Listen to “What I Pray About” by clicking here)

Overall, this CD shows their maturity as musicians and song writers. Though, I am disappointed that there are only seven tracks on this new CD, I must say there’s not really a bad track on the whole album. It definitely leaves me wanting more. To all those who have not heard the band before today, I would suggest beginning with this CD, and then progressing to their earlier work. If you are a fan of Caedmon’s Call or FFH, you’ll love Full Armor.
