‘Crowned With Splendor’ Easter production expecting record crowds

The Gloucester County Community Church will present its new Easter production for 2013, Crowned With Splendor. Capacity crowds are anticipated for the limited six performances over two weekends. The dates and times for performances are: Saturday, March 23 at 3:30 and 6:30 p.m., Sunday, March 24 at 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. and Saturday, March 30 at 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. Admission is free with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. All performances will provide child care from ages nursery through kindergarten.

The Easter productions at Gloucester County Community Church Easter have been a holiday tradition in the South Jersey area for many years. Audiences travel from near and far to see these “much anticipated” performances, with good reason. The Creative Arts Department at GCCC spends countless hours preparing this depiction of the life of Christ with excellence.

See the life of Christ portrayed in a new and exciting way as the talented GCCC cast and crew combine to tell this epic story of the life of Christ. From the streets of Israel to the Resurrection, you will be transported back in time as every scene comes alive right before your eyes. Experience this life-changing portrayal as sets, drama, costumes, music, lights, sound and media all combine to celebrate God’s great love for mankind.

Each year these “must-see” performances are presented to capacity crowds. Be sure to arrive early to get the very best seats! Doors open 45 minutes before each performance.
